Default Hurricane Irma

So I have been tracking this one due to the threat it poses to my Soldiers.

The track of the hurricane has changed to straight up the Florida main land and straight into Georgia.

So to all our Land Rover friends and family keep your heads down, stay safe and head somewhere safe if you can. If you are evacuating get moving the homestead is insured I'm sure.

Wish I had ordered that damn snorkel last week like I thought about....

If it stays inland all that way consider yourself blessed. Ain't gonna be a hurricane when you see it.

Get the necessities. Propane, Water, food for three days, coffee. Power always seems to go out duirng these events. Fuel up the truck and you'll be fine. The damage comes from the spin up tornados after it makes landfall and local flooding.

If you are out fording through flooded areas, shoot video and stills!!

I have plenty of food and water on hand so I'm not worrying to much about it. I'm also on the high ground, and my homeowners insurance is paid up lol

Spent the day cleaning around the yard, and getting all the pool stuff secured. Got the auxiliary lights wired up on the LR3 and the fridge stocked.

I will be on duty during parts of the storm as I'm mission essential according to someone that out ranks me, so I'm counting on the LR3 to do what it is meant for.

Yuengling light? It's already light in regular. Where's the chips, nuts and Cheese Whiz? At least you picked the best MRE's, make great cinderblocks when you pass em. You guys up dar will be alright, just like thunderstorms - the usual.

The brisket is pretty damn good for a MRE.

We are hoping that is what it has fizzed out to by the time it gets here

Well the storm is predicted to head west and we will just be on the fringe. So time to keep our fingers crossed for West GA, AL and TN land rover friends.
