The interior of my Disco is coming along verygood. The headliner is complete, the carpet looks new again, and a lot of interior panels were cleaned. Nowit's time for the seats. The driver's seat cushion is worn and aged, but luckily not torn. My plan was to use a vinyl dye to bring back the color andto improve the overall look of the seat.

Well that's my problem, I've checked all my local parts store an I can't find a color that match the interior. The only tan color they carryis lighter than the factory seat. If Iwas planning on doing all the seats (front seats, back seats, seat cushion ad back rest) that wouldn't be problem. My intent was to do the front seat cushions alone.

Tomorrow I willcheck a LR dealer to see what they might have.Correct me if I'm wrong, but it appears D1's only came in 2-3 interior colors. Tan like mine, I've seen a grey interior and maybe another color I can't remember right now. Is that correct?

Do the interior have a color code like the exterior?

Take your VIN# with you to the dealer, your color codes are in there. Do not know about the interior though.

I did take your advise and went to the dealer. There is no color code available for the interior, but I did find out what LR calls the interior color.

Pop quiz Spike, what does LR call the interior color? I'm refering to that common tanish color

 

You can difinately count on pics. To be honest, it's not going to lookany difference than most other well maintained interiors. But considering where I started, it's a lot better.

I'm also followingup on another possible solution in finding a matching vinyl dye. Will post results.

 

Is the color called Baleuga? I know I spelled it wrong, but am I right?

I didnt know if there was a color code for the interior or not. Some dealers include the color code for the exterior and the interior in the VIN #.

 

I don't care if it looked like the inside of a cardboard box. If it's a picture of a Rover I want to see it
