I am trying to replace the 19 inch rims that the previous owner of my truck stripped off of a Range Rover sport and want to use 16 inch wheels, are they all pretty much the same, or are the 16 inch wheels from certain years preferable?

 

Mine came with 19"s too, but I don't know whether they were from an RRS or an LR3. Anyway, I went with 16" Mirage wheels since (I think) they would have been stock on my '99. (FYI...IIRC, the lug nuts are different when you swap from 19" to 16" wheels too, so don't forget to figure them in when you make the change.)

If I had it to do over again though, I'd have just bit the bullet and bought a set of 16x7 or 16x8 steel wheels for it.

 

As long as they are NOT DI wheels you'll be fine.

The "Mirage" wheel seems to be the most common and therefore the cheapest. FWIW, the Mirage wheels look AWESOME painted black, found this pic on Dweb a while back...
