LOL! 212 is far from overheating dude... Relax... Top off through the bleed hole in the morning when the engine is stone cold.

It never, in 12 years of ownership went over 204. Never. 212 is not where it should be.

The factory design was to operate at 220. I would panic over 225.

Do the inline thermostat mod and it will never go over 190.

I must have screwed something up. I can see coolant coming from the top of the water pump housing once it gets to operating temp. I will take it off and try again. Thought I was super careful to clean it all and get everything just right but obviously not.
