Angry Things you do not like at all from Discovery II...

Hi. Just list your complains

- Cannot stand the idiot dash coolant thermometer, designed by some idiot, tells nothing, no scale on it, and stuck at the center from 75 to 110 degrees Celsius. The idiot red light tells to go repair the engine. With so many electronics, they did not make the built-in chime to warn when the light is about to come on. It would take a couple of lines of program code.

- Underrated radiator. And cannot be pulled alone. Too many things attach to it.

- Unable to read ABS error codes with an OBD2 scanner.

- Unable to replace individual wheel bearings.

- Too cheap lock actuator motors. The ones in a kid's toy are better. And complex removal/replacement.

- Old unreliable and underpowered Rover V8 engine
- Genuine un-serviceable front propshaft
- Genuine rear propshaft rubber coupling
- Genuine thermostat
- Not enough cargo space, wish the truck had an extended option for those of us who do not go off-roading
- Genuine 16" rim designs
- Cheap interior plastics
- Genuine plastic headlight assemblies. I wish they were made of glass rather than plastic, they would look so much better.
- Lack of dark tinting on the windows. Alot of new cars come stock with darker tinting and it would make the D2 look much better.
- The 2003-2004 "S" trim Disco! Cant stand anything about it.
- Body panels could be a bit bulkier and the truck could be a little higher stock
- The 3 amigos issues

All in all I love the Discovery models but I just wish Land Rover spent more time engineering and constructing these vehicles. I wish LR updated the interior of the D2 with a complete new more modern design. I wish all D2's came stock with ACE and rear park assist sensors. I wish all D2's came stock with the CDL. and finally I wish LR put as much pride in the Discovery model as they did with the over rated "Range Rover"!

PS: I also wish the Discovery was the "FlagShip" of the company rather than the Range Rover!
