It has a yellow padded hood release latch. Very thoughtful of them knowing you would be under the hood often.

Things I love about the Discovery 2:

- Black Leather interior option
- The updated "pocketed" headlamp design
- Thicker roof rails
- The redesigned rear tail lights
- The completely redesigned front and rear bumpers
- The ACE system
- SLS
- Automatic traction control
- Rear park assist sensor
- The HSE package
- Larger front windshield
- The rear view mirror with the built in compass
- The improved radio and 6 Disck CD changer
- Outside temperature display
- The built in lumbar support in the front seats
- The redesigned automatic shifter and added cup holders
- The improved CDL
- The improved handling of the vehicle
- The new trims and special editions available
- The 18" rim design
- The redesigned power steering reservoir
- The redesigned 7 seater setup (front facing full size seats with head supports)
- The rare DVD player option
- The redesigned and easier to see coolant reservoir
- The feeling while driving, feels much more solid

When you own a Disco, you get a whole new hobby; auto-mechanics.

yep. I am about to learn how to replace a front output seal and rebuild a driveshaft. Before this truck, I had changed oil and brakes and a starter.

The fact they are easy to work on compared to other vehicles.

The overall design of the rigs, the clever designs and the not so clever/after thoughts, that work but leave you scratching your head and laughing.

The bullet proof Tranny (knock on wood)
My favorite feature . A lot of suvs have both engine and transmission problems, the disco seems to have engine problems but usually not transmission problems. Thank you ZF!
