A long, long time ago I had a nearly new just out of warranty 1976 VW Dasher wagon that threw a rod and generally made a great big mess of things. I was fortunate to find an engine from an Audi Fox that had 2000 miles and was totaled from a rear end collision. I figured that I saved enough money swapping that engine that I just about paid for any tools I would ever need. That doesn't cover woodworking tools, but that's another story. I also lost my fear of doing big jobs, but I was a lot younger then.

Hey folks!
Its been a while since i posted. So what do I like most?... well the fact that my wife doesn't like my rover so she never asks me to drive it. Haha!
On another note my wife also asked why I got a winch as I would never use it... well this hunting season I had to pull 2 trees out of the way to my deer stand and pull a buddy out of soft muddy spot.
Cheers and enjoy your rovers

What I like...
Well,
-How it drives
-How it looks
-Has done everything we needed it to
-The fact that it has had no real major mechanical issues in our entire ownership
-With cdl + GY duratracs, It seems nearly unstoppable in winter
-We got it for a good deal, and its cheap to maintain (Not looking at gas here )
