Thinking of parting 02 Disco - Please advise...
I have a 2000 Disco II that I paid $7K for two years ago. It has 110K on the clock. I have too many cars and I need this thing gone, how much is it worth? $2K? $3K?
Here's my delimma, I bought it in Florida with intentions to turn it into an fun vehicle but never got around to it. I've never titled it in Texas so in order for me to sell it I would imagine I have to title it here, which would go back to the original purchase value and end up costing me around $600 plus dollars.
The vehicle is in good condition but the rotory coupler would need replacing as well as the water pump. Every thing works fine and looks good, no dents, drives great, just put on new rotors, pads, etc. Of course before I could get it inspected, I would need to replace the rotory coupler to clear up the lights and make the horn work.
So, wtf? Should I part it out? Thanks!!!

Well the roto-flex wont set off any warning lights.
If it runs well I dont see why you cant sell it as is.
Look up the value on www.nada.com, www.edmunds.com and www.kbb.com, take a average of the three and go from there.
