Thoughts on Spring spacers
Nice setup!
At least I feel no pressure to turn my 2000 into a 2003
David, that's definitely too much lift!! 3" is perfect for a D2, especially when you have good clearance bumpers. You have too much weight up top to have that much lift, trust me, it's scary on some trails

If you still want to try another size spacer, like maybe .5" the best bet is to look on eBay for aluminum disks. Measure the width of your spacers. I found lots of places selling aluminum tube or puck or disc...can't remember. As long as you've got the right width, you can find .25" .5" 1" thick...whatever. They are only a few bucks each and all you've gotta do is drill the holes to mount under your springs. I run .5" in front and 1" in back with my 2" HD springs. It works great.
And in the summer when I've got the XL RTT, family of 4 and all our gear (it's a lot of frigging gear) I throw throw those little wacky rubber coil spacer thing that just slide into the coils. They are only for really heavy load. They don't lift the truck up at all but they help with sag and bottoming out. Those things are about $20 each and you can remove and install by simply jacking the truck up a few inches.

Does anyone know a way to measure how much lift over stock you actually have? I know we are aware of the measurements of what we put on but is there something to measure like axle to frame or something else? I have no idea what my original arch height was because when I bought my Rover in 2000 I had no thought if putting a lift on it.
Well I ended up ditching the spacers. My rear shock was maxed out no travel left. It was too stiff for sure. I am waiting on 4in springs and 14 in bilstein rear shocks. Hopefully this gets me what I want...
