2003 Disco II
Replaced the ABS modulator.
front right hub is what my local shop tells me is causing the code.
Any way to fix the hub? Or do I need to replace it?
Any need for OEM?

Thanks!

Tim

Depends why they are saying it need to be replaced. The service manual says that the sensors are not replaceable, and that you have to replace the hub. The sensors are available. So if that's what wrong, you can fix it.

Another common problem is that the hub wears out, and then triggers abs codes... in that case you have to replace it. With whatever you want. New from the dealer is probably over $500. Aftermarket is probably more like $300. Some have even put used ones for less than $100.

If he is saying that the actual hub is bad, there is no repairing it.
Find out exactly what he feels is bad and how he tested for it, hope he isn't guessing.

084 I couldn't find.

Based on the electric fail, i'd probably just replace the sensor first.. or at least check to see how the connector looks in the wheel well, if there is one still.
