Throttle Body Heater Gasket Repair how to photos?
Does anyone know why the photos don't show up on the 'how to' tutorial for the Throttle Body Heater Gasket Repair for the DII? It looks to be a VERY helpful tutorial but no photos :-(
IMO it's easier to just remove the throttle body before taking off the heater. It's only 4 bolts but you have MUCH easier access to the heater plate bolts and can move it around wherever you want. Plus you can get in there with some cleaner a bit easier while it's off.
Leaving it on may sound like a shortcut but it really only makes the job more difficult. Atleast it did for me anyways.
Don't know why pics aren't there but try this one:

Thanks guys - I appreciate it. I don't know for certain that this is the issue but will find out tomorrow when I dig into it. Trying to pinpoint the leak (coolant running down back of engine on driver's side and hitting the exhaust). This helps, thx.
Thx.. I tackled it early this morning at work in a heated garage (thank goodness seeing as it's 14F here and windy with lots of snow..) - it's definitely the throttle body gasket. The parts are ordered and on the way - thanks for all of the help!
