Default Throttle Body Questions...

This morning I was doing a little winter cleaning in the engine compartment. I have been cleaning the engine off to locate what gasket is leaking oil. I decided to pull the hose off the throtle body to take a peak at it. I noticed some sort oil in the throttle body. Should this worry me? What should I do next?

How much oil? Was it one of the breather tubes that come up from the valve covers?

The tube after the MAF. Where it connects on the drivers side of the engine. It is not a lot at all. Just enough I thought I would ask.

Check the oil separator on the passenger valve cover to see if it is clogged. Crankcase gasses are supposed to into the driver's valve cover from the throttle body, and out the passenger valve cover (hence the need for the oil separator).

Clean your oil separator and your t/body and you will be fine. This is a pretty common issue and is nothing to worry about.
