Default Throttle Coolant Gasket...Again!

This past weekend, my coolant gasket at the throttle body started leaking. This is the third time in 3 years...just getting ridiculos.
After looking at the configuration...I decided to just run the coolant hose from the reserve tank to the engine (bypassing the flow through the throttle body).

Over the past week, the truck has run great. Have others on the forum used this solution (from frustation with the throttle gaskets)? I live in Atlanta where I don't think cold temperature will be an issue for the throttle body.

Its the Dex-Cool in your cooling system, it is corrosive and it WILL eat gaskets.
Flush the system, use a different coolant and fix the throttle body heater and it will not leak again.
