Unhappy Time for a new Rover

Got hit by a tractor trailer today. His fault, he ran the light. Must have done some serious damage to the frame because none of the doors would open. I had to crawl across the seats and out the cargo door. Bent the floor board too. leaking brake fluid. It's totalled. The good part is I'm ok and walked away from it. I'm definitely buying another Rover. If this were my Saab, the outcome would have been different.

Wow, glad you made it out in one piece. You're going to be hurting tomorrow for sure.

Ouch!!!!!! I totaled a lexus with my 18 wheeler a few weeks ago, thankfully not my fault but you definatly made out better than they did. At least your ok. Well all I can say is all the lexus did was bend my bumper and crack my fiberglass fender, judging b that damage you probably put a hurtin on the rig also.

Everyone keeps telling me I'll be hurting tomorrow. I feel a slight tightness in my neck, but I think that's because I turned my head to the right just as he plowed into me. I new the glass was gonna fly, so I turned away from it. Didn't look at the front of his rig to see what damage was done. He was able to drive off. And I was able to drive my Disco into the median to get out of the intersection. Those pics aren't the greatest as they were taken with my phone. It looks a lot worse in person.

You know what really sucks? I just received my order from Roverland ($200 in parts) and now I can't use it. I haven't even opened it. I called them and explained everything and they guy said he doesn't know if he can refund my money. He will check into it and let me know Monday......

EBAY!!

In all seriousness, I'm very glad you're ok. That could have been alot worse. Good luck in the search for a new rover.

Just got an email from them saying they will only give more store credit. ebay time!! unless someone's looking for a cruise computer, sunroof motor and right-front door latch. I'm thinking about a Range Rover now. But it's nice to know how well built the Disco is. Just didn't want to find out this way.....

Glad you are ok. Sorry about your disco man. Wish I needed some of those new parts I would give you full price to help out but alas I don't need any of them. Again, sorry 'bout the disco!
