You were t-boned by a freakin' semi!!!
That's why I want another Rover. I honestly thought it was "game over" when he hit me. Unfortunately, things are a bit tight right now so I may just go get a mid 90's Explorer until the insurance money comes thru.

Some guys put Land Rover Series 3 bodys on RR classics. Maybe you could do that to your discovery, if you want a project that is. There are some 100" Land Rovers on you tube. No emmisions needed on old vehicals.

This is one of the reasons I carry full coverage on my truck, its cheap and you never know.
They will pay me what my truck is worth in good condition, and the last time I ran a NADA on my truck it was $4500.

Just ran another one, $4250.

Well it was his fault and he admitted to it so I'll see what his insurance company will offer. But I know what it will cost to replace it. That thing had been running terrific lately except for a few electrical gremlins. I will miss it and can't wait to find another one. I found a couple but really don't feel like dealing with a blown head gasket or bad transmission right now.

Post more pics of yours, like a full frontal and full rear shot.
Try to get one of the frame too.

I'll have to go back down to the lot to take more pics. All I know is the hood wouldn't open and not even the passenger doors would open so I guess when he hit me, it pushed the whole cab off center. I couldn't even open the glove box to get my registration out. Had to pry it open. Luckily, the cargo door still worked. Ummm, you looking for a project Spike?

I am glad you are ok, My wife says all the time "If this damn money pit wasn't so safe, I wouldn't let you keep it!" I just hope if I am ever in the same situation (or a similar one) as the one you were in today, all the money I put into the truck will be just an investment on the safety of myself and my family! I may need to share Phil's facebook info on this with my friends and family too.
