Good decision. Once you are down there, just do it. I did replace my entire set at 106K when the head gaskets were done (the first time, LOL), at least now is off the list of possible things to go wrong.

I took a few pics when I was doing head gaskets at 139k the old chain was quite loose as you can see in the pic. The new one felt much tighter as it should I guess, btw you will notice I was sent the wrong cam gear for D1? Same tooth count different design. I was given the correct sprocket and I installed it a few days later.
