Timing at Idle
The answer to your question is in the RAVE manual, one that everyone on here at some point or another has either read about and downloaded for themselves, or was told to download to get the information being sought.
Instead, you're still here waiting for someone to spoon feed you the answer, and when no one responds in what you deem to be an acceptable time, you behave like a petulant child.
Rave manual doesn't seem to give normal idle timing just what should be expected during warm up? That said OP still doesn't seem willing to do any research and unwilling willing to share any info he may have found such as his own timing at idle.
Anyone else find more timing specs in Rave?
During engine warm up ignition timing should be an expected value of xx° BTDC.
I'm accused of being impatient. Only waiting 4 hours or so? My original post was on the 16th at 4:42 pm. I didn't ask again until the next day at 5:52 am. I also didn't ask what the Rave says it is during warm up. I just simply thought there might be some on here who would share their real world numbers after the vehicle was warmed up. I'm sorry if this is such a burden of a task.
As far as me not willing to do my research?
I searched for days and I always do before posting a question. Pardon me for being offended after being accused of not doing my part and being impatient when the reality is that none of you know me or what I've already done researching this question.
It would be great if someone could just be nice and say.
Hey I looked at mine today warmed up Idling at it was this....

"During engine warm-up, ignition timing should be an expected value of 12 degrees BTDC"
Make sure you run quality gas. I would montior knock sensor retard timing more then idle timing. If the knock sensor continue to read negative, this is a sign of pre-ignition

I dug out my old timing light a few weeks ago to help a neighbor who bought an old Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Hadn't used it in years and I don't really know why I keep it around. Same for my dwell/tach. Maybe I still hold onto a little bit of the dream that I'll someday own that '53 Chevy pickup I always wanted.

It's your response to Squirt which was out of proportion. Read what you wrote above. Hardly friendly. Especially as that's your response to the first reply. You still want people to go out of their way, go outside, warm their truck up, find out some info for you, after reading this?
The forum here is often lightning quick, with more info than you even need to a query within a short space of time. Other times, like weekends it's a touch slower. Just the way it is.
Sometimes the post you have just doesn't attract the replies. And I'm sure it must be frustrating, when it seems all you want is a simple reply. But you've got to view your replies in the eyes of the people reading them. The people you are asking to help you.
As an actual answer, I'm not with my truck at the moment, so don't know. Sorry.

I don't think I can monitor knock sensors with my scangauge 2. If there is a way I sure would like to know.
I've been seeing between 9-14 Deg BTDC.
When I get my intermittent pinging issue and I stare at my Timing I don't see it back off at all.
No codes and nothing but 93 octane from BP or Shell.
I put in a new TPS today because it was a little erratic. It now reads from 0-93 whereas before it was 0-70. Throttle response is better. I still have a funky shift to 4th occasionally. I think I'm going to try a new MAF.
