My AR-15 is a Stag Arms Model 2TL (left handed). Haven't really thought about a price yet.
The 10mm sounds like a fun round to shoot. I know I can only get through about hundred rounds or so of .40 before my hand starts to go numb. I almost got a Springfield XD-40 Subcompact, but it was about $200 out of my range at the time, so I opted for the Smith & Wesson Sigma 40VE. I know, I could have gotten a used Glock for the same price, but I just liked the way the Sigma felt in my hand. It balances well, and I like the trigger, believe it or not.

If you are going to carry you also need to consider how well you can conceal the weapon and how tiring it will be to carry a heavy sidearm all day.
My .380 is perfect for me, fits in the small of my back and nobody can tell that I am carrying.

Unfortunately I can't stick around... I just wanted to make sure Uncle Spike was still keeping all you guys straight over here.

My Discos are well- Mandy hasn't rolled hers yet, so that's good.

Well... duty calls... Over&Out bro's.

Phil, I don't think "surprised" will exactly be my reaction, when the republic of the USA is a thing of the past. This country is "turning around", sure enough.

It pleases me greatly to hear of all the prepared Americans on this forum. I love to think of those who drive Land Rover's as prepared, peaceful, civilly active individuals.

As they say; "In 20 years, we may look at our dusty cans of ammo and rifles and shake our heads... Or, we may be to busy reloading."

Good luck gents... Over&Out.

You want to talk about loosing liberties read the Patriot Act and you will see what we have lost.
Threw the Constitution out the window.

Props on the 10 mm AK. My father in law gave me a Colt 1911 Gold Cup that is simply beautiful. I think it is worth more than my Disco, but hey. I picked up a Bushmaster 223 a couple of years ago and can now sell if for at least twice the money; that may be the way I get to keep tinkering on the old LR.

haha i only buy throw aways... once you pile the bodies up on the serial numbers you gotta ditch the pistol... right now i have a hipoint .40 tucked beneath the seat and center console in the bus... they're cheap guns (about 150 bucks brand new) and i have owned 2 and have had the .40 jam 1 time, and that was after the last hurricane when my cousin and i walked through chest high water for 4 hours with the guns tucked in our waistlines....

oh and about the tire stuff... the best thing i have done so far was sit down one day with a hammer chisel screwdriver and pliers and take all the little chrome caps off my lugnuts... they were stripped and some of the caps would just spin on the nut itself... but not anymore...
