Default Tire pressure question

I just put on my bfg ko2 tires I had when I bough my 04 disco I put 42 psi and they feel soft I can hear the rubber that mushie sound lol they are nearly new.

should I pump these up higher ??

i run 36 front and 40 lbs rear D1 with stock size mud and snow profile tires - some unique tires could require something different - might contact major tire supplier for an opinion on these specific tires

Chalk test is the only way to get your vehicle dialed in.
