Default Tire Question ???

I need new tires for my 2000 Disco II. I've always liked the performance of the B.F. Googrich All Terrain T/A series of tire. However, they're not available in my size ... 255/65-16.

Does anyone know of a narrower, or wider (and still fits) BFG tire that still retains the same (or close enough) height??

I've got BFG A/T KO 255/70-16s. They fit just fine even with a stock suspension. You can see how they look in my Album here... https://landroverforums.com/forum/members/javaracer-6052-albums-transformation-107/

Go with 245/75/16.

Thanks everyone. But, which is closer to the original height?

Is there a website where I can compare?

Check with BFG they have that information if you do a Google search.

Thanks for posting the tire size calculator, that will answer alot of the questions around here. Maybe we should make a stickie for this link in the new tech section.
