What do you plan to use the truck for, tnerb33? If you have plans for a winch or other heavy accessories go with the heavy duty springs and shocks.

heres a pic with 245/75/16 mt/rs and i think 2" ome lift. search through ebay, craigslist, and local 4x4 clubs for the mtrs. people are always taking them off their jeeps.

What is the ride like with heavy duty springs? I do like to go off roading and carry a lot of gear. At this point though I do not have a steel bumper or anything. I'm worried that the ride will be terrible on the street.

Saw this post. Are you still liking Goodyear LR r. Spike555 lives in same snow belt I do so wonder if really good in snow. Long lasting? I can get now at 800 from tire rack. Let me know how you liked them.

They held up pretty well, we don't get a lot of snow here but when it did I didn't have any issues. I sold the truck a few months ago and it still had the tires on it although the fronts were pretty worn down, they really needed to be rotated. I'd buy them again.
