will 265/70-16 goodyear wrangler rts tires fit on a disco 1

I would stay away from goodyear!!
You can get a much better tire for a similar price.
Land Rover drivers report that Goodyears wear out WAAY to fast on a disco, mostly because of weight. Have you looked at the General Grabber A/t2?
I got these on a few weeks ago and I have been pitching them to everyone I know!
They are great so far.
What type of driving do you do?


Oh yeah, spike is right 255 is the limit so keep that in mind.

I have Cooper Discoverer ATR's and have had great results. Pretty sure if you go 255 you have to stay under 65 for the cross or you have to cut the rear quarters. 245/75 is the preferred size around here.... I am going to upsize as soon as I can get my current tires to wear out...still waiting...

255 rubs on my Disco I, when it comes time for new tires Im going back down to 245s.

my cousin has a used tire place and i could get these real cheep ive heard about the wear deffidently wouldnt pay full price for these

It all depends what type of driving you plan on doing.
Tough off road? 100% on road? 50/50 of each?
Tell us that an we can go from there.
