Default Tires discovery II

I've been trying to buy the original tires that came with the vehicle, unfortunately 255/55 R18 is not a very easy size or to find. According to the Goodyear website they do not carry the specific size for the vehicle. Could someone please let me know a good replacement tire for on / of road to buy and from where.

I did a search on the site and idid not find the information I was looking for.

Thanks for the help.

Do yourself a favor and don't buy the same tire that came with your truck, they are way to expensive, don't last long, are not good off road and get terrible wear patters.

You could upsize one size and go with a 255/60-18, this is the same width, but it's about an inch taller. I think they look better with a little taller sidewall on a 4x4. The Nitto Terra Grappler AT is in that size and I've heard good things about it.
Here is a link to it from Discount Tire.

Alot of people here in Florida run those on everything from jeeps to full size F350's. The shop I bought my bridgetone's suggested the nitto as a second option. Good looking tire too.

Hey MDZDisco04....

I have a set of 4 18" Yokohama Advan ST's that came with the Disco I just bought. They are lightly used, probably 80% tread left.
If you are interested let me know, I will send you pics and and all the specifics...

Andy
