Default Tires, I want more rubber

Hallo ladies and gents
Got a 2" ome lift on the old 02 disco. Time to get some new tires for my stock 16" rims, but I want a little more rubber, would really like to get the most rubber. The question to all of you is, anybody out there got what I got and what's a big tire I can go with with out necessarily scraping
Thanks a bunch

255/85R16, but you might have to trim some plastic... front bumper and maybe the sill trim.

Eventually you might want extended bump stops too, but I never had any issues with rubbing or bottoming out without new bump stops.

Just remember the taller that you go you probably won't like what it does to your final drive. You might have to add 4:11 gears if you go too tall.
