tires like simex extreme trekkers
Just curious if anyone could point me to some tires that are similar to simex extreme trekkers? Looking for the old school skinny look but something sold in the US.
About what size? 32" or are you talking bigger? There are some interco tires that are tall and skinny, but most are going to be bias ply, not radial. Sizes like 9/32-16.
You can also get farm truck tires in bias ply in 7.50-16.
If you've got some extra cash, rovers north sells Michelin XZL in 7.50r16 if you want radials. But they are like $350 each.

We have pretty wide wheels on these trucks, so unless you are changing wheels you really shouldn't get thinner than a 235. It may literally be impossible to get a thinner tire to mount on the wheel.
But a 235/70r16 or even a 235/85r16 might make you happy.

Not sure if you can find them skinny, but TSL super swampers aren't too far off in design.

Then again, that'd only be for hillbilly mud bogging, they're pretty much useless for roads, snow, sand, rocks, etc.

I've actually seen some of the other interco tires do pretty well in assorted conditions. A buddy of mine was running the SSR and it seemed to do pretty well. Not available very skinny though.
Their trxus mt is available in 235/85 and 255/85 though.
