Hey all... I'm in the market to buy a lift for my 01 d2 and i have com across a 3" medium duty spring kit for about 350 bucks from toddco. I'm wondering if any of you are running these springs do they run well or should I stay away.. I plan on light to medium off roding.thanks

 

Dont forget about 3"shocks to match the higher height. You're gonna want the travel.

 

There was a time when Toddco was a pretty good broup to buy from, but not now. I have heard to many stories about long delays, no follow thru with issues.
Don't buy a no name suspension, stick with the majors with a long track record like RTE and OME.
Who's shocks are you planning on using?

 

Just call there and see how long it takes to get someone on the phone. You will be amazed :-(

 

Thanks guys. I'll just stay clear of toddco. I was planning on using oem or a term firma shock anyway. I'll look into getting a complete kit from old man emu or tera firma......!

 

I ran into enough problems with them just trying to get some SLS spacers I ordered sent to me. Two weeks after I ordered them they still hadn't been shipped. I called quite a few times, no one answered, and they never really responded to any of my emails until I cancelled my order.

I finally gave up and ordered a set from RTE.

You're far better off with someone like OME or RTE.
