Default Any body know any good driveshaft specialists

I now live in Madison, WI. I moved here two short months ago and don't know anyone in the area. I need to install new u-joints on my front driveshaft and was hoping someone on this board knew a good location in the area.

Thanks

Just call around to a couple local tranny shops. You should look to spend around $25 a piece for u-joints and $120 give or take a little in labor.

Adam,

Call Machine Service located on Stoughton Rd (Madison, WI). They do a lot of driveshaft work. My brother and I have had them lengthen/shorten shafts and replace splines. They do good work. Also, I would think about any shop could replace the U Joints. If you need suggestions, let me know. I live in Madison also.

Mark G, thanks a bunch. I will set up an appointment for next week. Boy this site is really a great service. Nice to know there is a fellow member in the area.
