Default top radiator hose junction leaking.

Hi All
I just pressure tested my cooling system and found a small leak under the three way plastic junction (bleed screw junction) is there a replacement available? Or do I have to buy the whole thing with hoses?
Cheers John.

for about the same price as that hose and assembly you can do the inline thermostat modification. have done it on my truck and have steady temps in the high 170's to mid 180's.

I've done the inline mod and highly recommend it.

However, before I did that, my T left me stranded on the highway one day. The fix (which lasted for years and would last a lifetime) was a metal plumbing T with three threaded nipples and three hose clamps. You lose the bleed screw but that's a part that will never, ever, fail. Cost was about 16 bucks plus two gallons of water to get me home.

If you need a replacement immediately you can go home depot for a temporary fix or permanent install.

I would recommend a local scrap yard. I have tons in the area and that part is only 5 bucks.

When my T failed, I tried some roadside repairs and it just CRUMBLED. It was ridiculous. I don't like plastic parts. Period. No plastic parts. But the first T did last 15 years...

Take the advice of people that suggest going inline, now that T is broken, you will be very satisfied afterward,
a good replacement T-stats for inline will cost under $10 when need to be replaced, consistent temp's & cooler running engine is the benefit,
(The only downside is you will get tired of looking at temp, because it stays very consistent & never gets to danger zone if you don't have any leaks,!)
