Tophat block re sleeve?
Is it feasible to re sleeve a single cylinder and not have some strange reason you'd have to do them all?
Thinking about picking up a tophat block that only has a few hundred miles on it, and using that to build a fresh engine.
Mistakes were made during assembly and single cylinder is scored/worn down significantly.
Im thinking have a new sleeve/liner put in that cylinder and good to go?
What would you pay for a block or sell one for thats perfect besides the sleeve issue?
Any thoughts? Opinions. Whatever. Thanks.

@DodyDisco you can for certain replace a single liner, BUT you need to check the piston and bottom end for damage and see why the cylinder got messed up
As long as the liner wasn't damage to the point it was worn through, damaging block, like a wrist-pin walked out of piston...it could be replaced. I'd surely check everything else over with a fine-toothed comb though, like Richard mentions, since foreign materials would definitely be a factor for concerns amongst other moving components.
