Interested to hear about that @Bignacio. That’s certainly well below what I’ve experienced with two 4.6’s, both stock trucks suspension and wheel/tire wise though. I always easily managed 12-13 in town and 15+ on the highway without trying to save fuel.

 

The inline thermostat and cooler engine temps help with mpg. And the disco feels more peppy I get 14 mpg on regular gas mixed driving all the time

 

Oddly I cannot find anyone who has a real world experience with the Tornado flash. You would think someone would have some feedback somewhere. I think driving style is the main influence on mpg.

 

I'm definitely going to do Extincts inline mod on this new engine, along with BESTS4X4 PVC mod. I'm also gonna order the stainless steel resovoir from Abran at CARS4X4.

 

You would think that some people have tried it over there. lol Realistically, I would really love to do the Cummins R8 swap if I could afford it.

 

Is Abran still making the coolant reservoir? The only one I can seem to find is the one from Allisport.

 

Pretty sure he had some quality issues and is no longer selling them.
