Actually Spike, he is looking to go the other way, 4-flat to 7 round.

There are 7-round plugs that you simply plug your 4-flat into for your lights, turn signals and ground then you just need to run wires for your battery charge line, brake signal to activate your brakes and reverse lights if you want to them. I actually had to do that with my dodge when I added the factory 7-round plug. Pepboys, Napa or Autozone should all carry the plug set up you need.

Yeah, thats what I meant. I have the adaptor to go from a flat four on the tow vehicle to a 7-round on the trailer.
I bought it at the store, $12 I believe.

ah thanks spike, but i need the trailer brakes so what other options do I have?

I figured that you did need the trailer brakes.
If you call Atlantic British they can point you in the right direction.
There have been others with the same problem and they did get what they needed, trailer brake controler and wire harness.
