Question Towing with a Disco

Anyone out there use their Disco to tow a boat, or small RV? I've been using mine to tow our small Travel Trailer for the past couple of years and it's worked great. I've been keeping an eye on the temp. variations at different speeds, and was just wondering what others who tow with their Disco, see.

Without a tow, I consistently see between 193-204 on the highway.

Towing an ~2500 lb travel trailer, in the NC Summer with Temps in the 90+ on relatively flat ground, I see the following:
Speed ~ 60 MPH Temp 203-210
Speed ~ 65 MPH Temp 210-220
Don't go any faster than that, as the 65 MPH temps scare me.
Speeds less than 60 and my temps are back in the Without a Tow range.

Any feedback based on experience is greatly appreciated.

cheers,
rich

Everything is fine, your temps run higher because of all the added heat from the trans cooler being dumped infront of the radiator.
If you really want to lower your engine temps a bit invest in a engine oil cooler.
