Traction Control Override???
Hey all!
I have a 02 Disco 2 and was hoping someone could enlighten me on if you can override the traction control, specifically in 4WL. I don't mind having it active in 4WH, but I find it very aggravating in 4WL to have the traction control kick in. Any thoughts???

Step 1: Drive it for a few months
Step 2: The 3 amigos will come on
Step 3: You'll have power to 1 wheel when you lose traction and go nowhere
Step 4: ?
Step 5: Better offroad capability.

Like the others have said you most likely dont have a locking CDL, what you have is All Wheel drive (power to 1 wheel) with High and Low range gears. You would need to add a lever to engage the CDL or change out the front output housing. I dont know if the 02 came with the CDL without the lever or without the housing...
03 came without the hosing.
The traction control is sensing the single wheel spinning that has power and tries to brake it causing the power to transfer to another wheel.
Does your lever only have a H-N-L on it and only move forward/backward? or can you move it side to side and forward/backward the patern is as follows:
Front of Truck
Locked - Unlocked
L - L
N
H - H
Rear of Truck
