Default Traction Control and Sway Bars - Off road

While off roading I get annoying by the TC kicking in and it really messes with my driving style, and personally I don't find it very usefull. So I was thinking about putting a switch on the dash to turn off the TC. Has anyone done this? Will is ruin the system?

Also while on the subject of off roading, how does the D2 handle with no sway bars and has anyone built a quick disconnect system for them?

you can buy the quick dis-connect for sway bars. Justin at lucky 8 has them as well at RTE I think.
as for the TC. I am not certain but... if you engage your CDL. drive a few feet to lock it. then turn off the truck. When you turn engine back on you should have dis-abled the TC.

I dont like turning the car on and off to toggle functions, seems a bit silly to me. But you are right about that.

I'll look into lucky 8's disconnects, thank you for that.

But if I make a toggle switch for the TC will it ruin the modulator?

If you are using your CDL, then the T/C will only work about 10% of the time, so what is the big deal? Besides, I doubt you can disable it unless you do as was already mentioned.
As for the sway bars, some use quick disconnects for off road but if you run with them disconnected on the road, you may find it pretty sloppy.
