Default Trade-in Value

Wow, i got back from a dealership the other day to find out that my 1995 Honda odyssey with 154,000 miles has a better trade in value than my 2000 Land Rover Discovery with 82,000 miles. Any reaction/comments ?
I've come up on some trouble with the discovery, the 02 sensor has some oil on it, and then checked the fault codes and it turns up multple pistons were misfiring.... the troubles start.... 600 dollars just to replace the oxygen sensor, my god... now you know why i went to check the trade in value

So why don't you replace them yourself, they can be bought for about $65 a piece. Before you do the 02 sensors though you need to do your plugs and wires so everything is burning well.

Any of the big V8 gas guzzler SUV's trade in's right now are in the toilet seems no dealer wants them ... They offered my buddy $3k on a suburban with a big block even though KBB average trade in is $12K

Plus figure the dealers want to double their money when somebody comes along to buy from them! Take the profit yourself & sell it yourself

hey mike, what plugs and wire's are you talking about? And a mechanic told me he had to remove a lot of the engine to get to the 02 sensor to replace it, but when i saw it, it looks as though i can work from the bottom of the car. help please? thanks

All 4 02 sensors are very easy to get to from under the truck.
Magnacor 8mm plug wires and Bosch Platium Plus 4's.
Let me know if you want to talk aqbout it.

ok mike, i was wondering where the best place to buy these products are? I beleive i can do the oxygen sensor, seems simple enough. But as far as the spark plug wires, im having second thoughts.

Also, could the oxygen sensor, or the spark plugs/wires be a reason for pistons misifiring?
Thanks for your help!
