Question Trailer wiring.. 2004 S model.. No 7pin adapter

I have looked in both compartments behind both headlights, and in both compartments inside the truck.. I don't even see a plug of any type. Does this mean my truck doesnt even have the adapter option???
This is bizarre

Headlights?

Or did you mean tail lights?

You need to remove the passenger side tail light assembly. There will be a connector inside there with a boot over it. You will need to buy an adapter.

They have a video at the link showing you the details.

I am not aware of a "drop in" 7 pin wire harness.

I just wired up a 4 pin to mine, works like a charm. Of course all i'm towing is a utility trailer.

Wire colors may be different on a DII.
