Default trailer wiring

I have 1998 disco 1
Factory trailer hitch w/ 7 pin circular connector
I need to convert to 4 pin flat for a trailer I am purchasing.
I have searched old threads and have not found an answer.
Is a simple adapter that utilizes the factory connection point a dealer item only?
38.50$ at a local stealership (not bad actually)
I have checked with atlantic british and they only have the adapter to tie into the tail light 62$

Go to a RV dealer, they will have them.
That is where I bought my flat 4 to 7 round adaptor.
