Tranny Fluid: From Regular to Synthetic

When changing the diffs, t-case, and tranny, you will need a good pump of some type. I tried the hand pump on the diffs. with a hose on both ends that I bought at the auto parts store. The hoses keep coming out of the bottles and off the pump and made a mess. I went with a pump that screws on like a screw-on lid that I can press down over and over to pump it out of the bottles when I did the t-case and the tranny. The screw-on pump to the bottles is the way to go, and not expensive at all.
Other than that just the right wrenches and some patients and it is not too hard. Make sure you do not get your fluids mixed up, like I have heard a few stories of.
i went Amsoil synthetic all the way for all the fluids 40K ago, and have had not issues, and then I did a second drain on the tranny fluids 500 miles after the first change.
