Trans fluid help!!

The cooler trans temp was the key. I let it get up to about 100 and no more gush. Thank you!

What color is the fluid?? Does it smell burnt??

It did not seem that bad, however I have ordered a filter and gasket to replace once it gets here next weekend.

I'd certainly check the TC while your down there. Then you can mark Trans & TC upkeep complete

I tried every 1/2" tool I have, ratchets, wobble extensions, breaker bars. Nothing I have will fit in thae space tonight. Tomorrow on the way home I am going to pick up a serpentine belt tool. I think that will be perfect for this with the slight clearance given.

Yea that T-case filler is in a brutal space for sure, I need to check and top mine off it leaks

Small update.
I drained and filled the TC. Ended up using a serpentine belt tool for the best result of removal.

It warmed up outside again to about 77, the light retuned after about 7 mi of 50 mph driving. I disconnected the tc sender and it remained on. I guess it's the one on the front cooler. I will have to wait until it goes on again and disconnect that one for certainty. My trans filter etc should be arriving soon for fluid replacement.

I guess as if the removed trans fluid doesn't smell burnt, the trans should be ok? Just a faulty sensor?

Could be wiring, or the sensor. Filter job isn’t bad, but just have something wide for it to drain into.
