I just installed a D1 CDL in my '01 DII. Everything went well and appears to work. However, when engaging low, the transfer case neutral light/buzzer stays on until I put it back in high. Is this normal? Should the light only come on while in neutral? FYI- I know low is engaging.

BTW- I never got the light before I installed the CDL. CDL works fine and the red CDL light comes on and off as it should.

 

Sounds like your truck thinks you case/switch is not telling the truck/computer that it's all the way in gear. is the shifter hitting or being obstructed by the d1 setup? Linkages pushing all the way?

 

It's working as if low is fully engaged. But you are right, a signal is being sent thinking it's not engaged all the way.
