my transfer gearbox just blew up (1996 disco I) and i am torn between buying a used one or rebuilding the one i have. i have heard that there is a rebuild kit that will give me a 4:1 ratio in the transfer case, but i do not know where to find this, or any other rebuild parts, even stock gears and bearings and chains.

does anybody know where i can order rebuild parts for my t-case? i dont really trust buying a used one, i would rather just rebuild the one i have. labor cost is not an object, since i will be doing all of the work myself, i just need to know where to buy parts.
