Transfer Lever Stuck

Default Transfer Lever Stuck

Transfer lever is stuck in high, followed the book on changing, but will not move, any suggestions on where to look to see what the problem is? 2001 Discovery II

I'm having the same issue. DiscoMike says solenoid. I've been too busy to pull my console apart as of yet. The solenoid can be removed, and this will clear up the problem, you'll just have to be sitting still when shifting into LO rather than <5 mph.

I don't think WD will work since it's cable actuated not a linkage like the DI.

Same problem here on my 2001 DII. I'm about to order a new solenoid and dig into the center console.
