Above the damage, between the pan and transmission housing. I do not want to buy another pan right now, as I am saving for the CDL.

Salvage yard at a u-pull-da-partz type place. Or dismantler if they will let it go without the tranny.

Well the tranny case has a small crack. Apparently the it was not full of fluid so it did not leak. I put some QuickSteel on it and am crossing my fingers. I plan to have it welded, but need to find someone who can do it.

This is what I would do, take the pan off, if its dented or warped, heat her up and work out the dents carefully w/ metal working hammer and dolly,if u dont heat up the aluminum it will crack. to fix the crack, you can groove it out to make it a little larger, really cleane it an rough up the surface around and in the crack, inside and outside of the pan and fill in the crack and both sides of the crack with metal epoxy let dry, or look up www.eastwoodco.com, look up aluminum brazing rods, they sell a kit, that is easy to use all you will need to buy is a tourch, one used for plumbing. there if you do one of these sugestions u will save a coup[le hundred dollars

Well no leaks this morning. Drove 64 miles to the GBR Anniversary Run and 64 miles back. No issues or leaks. Just hope not to wake up tomorrow with a leak.

Calling tomorrow to find someone who can weld my transmission. It is still leaking, just not as bad. I was told it would have leaked before, but the fluid level was below the crack. And it shifted fine :O

Had to order those trans pan retaining clip things, they look like a "U". and when they come in I get to remove all the fluid, again, and clean it really well. Do I need to remove the Valve body or will it be fine to weld it on the outside and use some scrap to protect the internals?
