Default Transmission P0705 Wiring help

Looking for some help on fixing a p0705 code I have with flashing M+S. Ive found these 2 connectors unplugged on top of my transmission and need help finding where they go. They are located up stream from my XYZ switch plug. Thanks.

Look like transfer case position switch connectors. Have you looked in the RAVE for wire colors and plug photos.

It's 2 single black wire plugs, so I think* they are grounds, from looking in the RAVE, they are both same diameter. Im just terrible at reading the wiring diagrams. I also have no idea where I would plug them in, I took my boroscope and looked on top of the transfer case and everything appears plugged in.

I found this bent on top of the transfer case, looks like maybe something should be attaching here?

Went ahead and removed my shift selector and took the plate off just to triple check and everything appears to be plugged in. Realized 1 wire is black with a super dirty green stripe which I think is the reverse light. Still no idea where I could hook up the ground. Think cutting it and putting a ring terminal on it would work?

After going through plug photos again, It seems both of these plugs are for the transmission oil temperature switch, which I do not have equipped. This wouldnt just now be causing the flashing M&S light right?

That would not cause flashing M&S, but it would be unusual for you not to have the sensor. What is in the place of the sensor on your tcase?
