Transmission question
Any D2, as long as you aren't running factory wires can be power scrubbed without issues, I have done mine monthly for the lat 10 or so years.
Do make a point of changing your ATF 1 or 2 times more, no filter until it is clear red and on the last refil, put a bottle of Lucas tranny additive in it for an improved shifting.
By the way, you do know to fill it twice when changing the fluid, the second time with the engine running while in park.

I was thinking about doing my tranny fluid soon. My vehicle is at 113k mileage and for some reason I doubt it was every changed. Is there a problem with just dumping and refilling it and putting in the new filter. Should I bother with flushing it?
I just finished mine and it feels like its brand new again.
