I drained the tranny fluid. It didn't look burned or have a bad odor. wasn't red color just a light tan color. I plan to drop the pan and change filter and put new fluid in it. Anybody have any other thoughts or suggestions on how to fix this. I really don't want to change the transmission. but if I have too I will. Thanks

Do a drain and refill adding one bottle of Lucas tranny additive and see what happens.

Okay thanks for all the help. I found a wire loose. I think that is what threw the sensor code. It hasn't reappeared yet. Is it possible to clog a tranny filter and it have this effect on the tranny?

Only if the tranny a blown up by a hard part, other wise, normal wear and tear will not plug a D2 filter. If it were plugged that bad, I wouldn't even waste doing a flush, it is a goner.

Tonight I will drop the pan and check inside. Hopefully is just needs a flush. Do you think its a goner Mike?
