Question The transmission shift ****...

Hi.
The 2003 automatic gear selector **** comes out by pulling straight up, with the shown rod 'tail' attached; or without it; just the **** ? Press the button when pulling ? No unscrewing ? No clips? No nuts ?

Can the 2003 lock the transfer case from the cabin ? Is that called xyz ? Or what years has that implemented ?

Pull straight up hard, can't remember if trigger must be pushed but doesn't hurt. 03 tcase cannot lock cdl as there is no cdl. Tail comes with. No clips, no nuts.

Didn't punch myself, but it does take a good pull.
