Transmission Stutter - only in "D"

@The Deputy
Trans fluid was changed right before I bought the truck - I do not think the filter was changed. That was 2000 miles ago.
When the mechanic installed my new front driveshaft he removed a trans cooler line and lost some fluid. He refilled it to the proper level - engine running, etc. The described issues was already happening before he put the driveshaft in.
So NO filter changed, and level checked with truck ON.
Something I did no describe well: It seems to upshift way too early, and then when it kicks down a gear, it shifts fine, but it shifts from gear to gear very quickly like it cannot make up its mind.
I do not think it is a running/ power issue, at least I have no reason to think that. It revs smoothly, and when it holds a gear it pulls well and runs smooth/does not overheat. No SES light.
I have another thread going about a separate, but possibly not unrelated issue: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...-ideas-101064/
I agree that draining fluid and changing the filter, then properly refilling is probably the next best step. It has not done this except for the past 150 miles or so.

I tried the torque converter stall test on my way home today, just to see what happened. Truck revved up to right at 2,000 rpm before stalling.
The RAVE manual states that a rpm reading during the test between 1300-2200rpm indicates reduced engine power.
Is this an indication that perhaps my issue is power delivery related, not necessarily the transmission?
