hey guys i have a 95 disco with 87000 miles. the trans fluid is light brown and foamy. i dont know if its ever been changed and ive been getting a lot o of different feed back should i change it and if so what to put in thanks neil

 

I would suggest you do a fluid change, don't worry about the filter, drain and refill, put in a bottle of Lucas trannt additive and go drive. How is the trannty shifting now?
What ever you do, don't do a tranny flush, may be too hard on the tranny causing it to fail.

thanks mike ill do just that. the tranny shifts good no funny noises or any thing just the brown foamy stuff

 

If all is Ok with the tranny in 5 or 10,000 miles I would change the fluid again and you should be fine.
