Default Tricky Dick - Exhaust Hanger Issue

Need some help figuring this one out...

So about a year ago I removed my exhaust to fix exhaust gaskets and a broken weld on a cat. Since then my exhaust keeps wiggling out of the exhaust hanger.

I thought it was caused by the old rubber hanger sagging due to age and bought a new one. However, as you can see I am still having the issue.

Any thoughts, besides a coat hanger, to keep the damn exhaust from slipping out of the rubber hanger?

Push it all the way in and put two small hose clamps on the other side. They should be big enough to not pull through the hole. Did this on my Audi.

Yah, just jack it up and push it all the way in. I used a gipper vise to push one side in.

Pushing it on is no problem, it staying on and wiggling out is the issue.

I think I am going to try the worm clamps today, if I get bored.

Yeah, clamps for sure. Did that on my Audi to keep the exhaust tips centered in the bumper — never moved again.

I cant remember if I slipped on a bit of hose on the hanger first, then added the clamps. Either way, just mess around with it — it’s easy.

That's exactly why I did it on my Audi. To center the exhaust tips on my Miltek exhaust.

UPDATE

I used the worm clamps and I have been running almost a month with no issues. Thanks for the advice.
